Ingredients

3 cups Flour

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoons Baking Soda

2 teaspoons Cinnamon

1 teaspoon Nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves

2 cups Sugar

1 cup Mayonnaise

1/3 cup Milk

2 Eggs

3 cups Apples, chopped

1 cup Raisins

1/2 cup Pecans, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350° F . Grease and flour a 13 x 9 pan.

In large bowl with mixer at low speed, beat together sugar, mayonnaise, milk, eggs. Mix together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cloves. Add to sugar & eggs mixture and beat at low speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl frequently. Batter will be thick. Sir in the chopped apples, raisins and pecans.

Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes. Remove and cool on wire racks.

Serve with a topping of whipped cream.
