How to make it

  • Process the 'chicken' in a food processor and then transfer it to a medium mixing bowl.
  • Run the celery, onion and green pepper through the processor.
  • Add the vegetables to the mixing bowl and stir in the eggs, stuffing, salt and pepper; mix well.
  • Form into patties.
  • In a medium frying pan heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Fry patties on each side until browned.

This looks great! It's so rare to see recipes that call for Loma Linda/Worthington products (unless it's the Apple a DAy cookbook, LOL).

Thanks for the five. If you can't find Vegi FriChick you may ask your local health food store if they can order it for you. It is made by Worthington Foods but you can check if it is on the following link also: or call 1-800-557-6525.

If you have a 7th-day Adventist Book Store in your area they should also carry it.

Where do you get a can of vegetarian fried chicken? I'm from Salina, Kansas and I guess I'll try our health food store. Recipe sounds tasty so I'll try it when I find the FriChik. Thanks.
