How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan, sauté onion and garlic in butter until tender.
  • Combine flour and broth until smooth and gradually add to pan.
  • Stir in chilies, coriander and peppers.
  • Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened (approx. 4 minutes). Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup cheese and sour cream until
  • cheese is melted.
  • Combine chicken and 1 ½ cups of sauce.
  • Place about 1/2 cup chicken mixture down the center of each tortilla.
  • Roll up and place seam side down in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour remaining sauce over enchiladas.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F. for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  • Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
  • Garnish with olives, tomatoes and green onions, if desired.

    I will have to look at the bottle when I get home..Im at a different location right now!! I can tell you it comes in a small jar(I know Knorrs is one brand) Mine is another brand, can't think of it;). I will fwd u the recipe I got this from..its so good!! Michelle

    I love enchiladas. I cook my chicken in the oven on low for 1 1/2 hours with a chicken base(paste) smoothed all over it. I learned that from a gal on here..the chicken comes out moist and so flavorful!
