An old fashion cookie of the south thats good with coffee... its a soft simple cookie,,,This is a Sharon's recipe from the Urology Clinic where I used to work....Ive also used this recipe....
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 sticks parkay margarine shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soda dissolved in 2 tablespoons warm water shopping list
- 3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
How to make it
- Cream sugar and margarine together
- Add eggs and mix well
- Add soda and water mixture
- Add dry ingredients alittle at a time and mix throughly
- Add vanilla
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 7 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees
- Add 1/4 cup more flour if you want to roll cookies out and cut them with a cookie cutter after cooling down in frig for about an hour
