- ¼ cup non-fat plain yogurt shopping list
- 1 tsp black pepper shopping list
- ½ red onion, minced shopping list
- ½ jalapeno pepper, thinly sliced shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. cumin shopping list
- 19-oz. can chick peas, rinsed and drained shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice shopping list
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce shopping list
- 4 cups chopped iceberg lettuce shopping list
How to make it
- In a large salad bowl, combine yogurt, black pepper, red onion, jalapeno and cumin.
- Stir in chick peas and set aside.
- Add lemon juice, mix well and serve.
- Stored in an airtight container, salad will keep 24 hours in the refrigerator.
