I was given this recipe by a friend, it turned out to be a family gathering favorite. Two great things about it is, it can be made any time of year and it travels nicely.

Ingredients
  • Salad
  • 16 oz can tiny green peas
  • 16 oz can white shoepeg corn
  • 16 oz can french style green beans
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • Dressing:
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions
  1. Make dressing by combining all ingredients and heat to boiling. While cooling, drain and combine the veggies. When the dressing is cool, pour over the veggies. Let stand 24 hours.
  2. ( I have made this and eaten it after 4 hours and it was good but it is better the longer it stands)
