How to make it

  • In fry pan cook bacon crisp in small pieces reserve 2 tblspn drippings add 2 tblspns evoo,add beef braise til brown on each side,add 2 cupsbeef broth and 2 cups burgandy,put in preheated 375 degree oven for an hour
  • then add bacon pieces and more burgandy and broth if needed
  • cook another 30 minutes in oven on 350
  • on stove top in sauce pan cook baby portabellas in 2 tblspoons of unsalted butter,when cooked about 10 minutes add 2 tblspoons of flour,mix til incorporated add to oven pot
  • in another stove top pan cook pearl onions with a little water about 1 tsp and pinch sugar ,cook tell pearls r lightly carmelized add to oven pan,cook for 30 minutes
  • on stove top cook no yolks drain add chives . serve with garlic bread
