Chocolate Hazelnut Tart

- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoon all purpose flour shopping list
- 3 eggs-beaten shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups peeled,chopped,and toasted hazelnuts(Filberts) shopping list
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup corn syrup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons butter-melted shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 store bought frozen pie crust-thawed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- In large bowl,mix together sugar and flour.
- Add eggs,chocolate chips,hazelnuts,corn syrup,vanilla,butter and salt. Stir well.
- Pour into pie crust.
- Bake 1 hour.
- Cool 30 minutes before serving.
- Note:
- Where I live hazelnuts/filberts are extremely hard to find and/or very expensive so I substitute macadamia nuts,cashews,peanuts,or pecans.

You are lucky to get pecans and macadamia nuts cheaply, here they cost a bomb!!! hazel/filberts on the other hand are reasonably priced or you can pick your own in season.
