	unusual but when prickley pears are in season i will try it

Ingredients

as many pears as you would like

1 onion

1 tomato

french dressing

Directions

Gather the tender leaves of the prickly pear. Scrape off the thorns. Cut into dice and boil in three waters or until the last water comes out clear and not slimy. Cut up one onion, one tomato and add a French dressing. Mix well and serve cold.
