This is a really good crumble cake that is very easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1/4 C shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 2 C flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 C fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Topping
  • 1/2 C white granulated sugar
  • 1/3 C all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 C butter or margerine, softened

Directions
  1. Preheate oven to 375 degrees F. Grease one 8x8" BAKER'S SECRET Square cake pan.
  2. Cream together 3/4 C sugar, shortening, and egg.
  3. In a separate bowl mix 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into sugar mixture, alternating with milk. Stir in blueberries. Pour into pan.
  4. Topping: Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter or margarine. Sprinkle over cake batter.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
