I made these for a family gathering and they were a big hit! They have a crispy crust, a soft middle and a wonderful flavor. I used 1/2 Romano cheese and 1/2 cheddar cheese because of the soup I was serving, but I'm sure all cheddar is wonderful as well. They were easy to make and the recipe yielded 12 large scones.
