Chocolate amp Caramel Slice

- BASE shopping list
- 1 cup plain flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup dessicated coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
- caramel shopping list
- 1/3 cup golden syrup shopping list
- 125g unsalted butter, chopped shopping list
- 2 x 400g condensed milk shopping list
- TOPPING shopping list
- 200g dark chocolate, chopped shopping list
- 1 tbspn vegetable oil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 180C. Prepare and line 20 x 30cm slice tin.
- Mix base ingredients in bowl until well combined.
- Press mixture into base of tin and cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden. Set aside.
- Place caramel ingredients in saucepan over low heat and stir until butter is melted.
- Cook for a further 7 minutes (approx) or until caramel is thickened.
- Pour over cooked base and return to oven for 20 minutes or until caramel is golden.
- Remove from oven and refrigerate until cold.
- To make chocolate topping place chocolate and oil in saucepan over low heat and stir until melted.
- Spread over slice and refrigerate until firm.
- Great with coffee!
