How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 180C. Prepare and line 20 x 30cm slice tin.
  • Mix base ingredients in bowl until well combined.
  • Press mixture into base of tin and cook for 10-15 minutes or until golden. Set aside.
  • Place caramel ingredients in saucepan over low heat and stir until butter is melted.
  • Cook for a further 7 minutes (approx) or until caramel is thickened.
  • Pour over cooked base and return to oven for 20 minutes or until caramel is golden.
  • Remove from oven and refrigerate until cold.
  • To make chocolate topping place chocolate and oil in saucepan over low heat and stir until melted.
  • Spread over slice and refrigerate until firm.
  • Great with coffee!
