COFFEECAN CASSEROLE IS ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE COOKED IN A COFFEECAN ON AN OPEN FIRE FOR CAMPING. IT CAN ALSO BE LAYERED IN ALUMINUM FOIL AND SEALED, AND THEN COOKED OVER AN OPEN FIRE OR ON A B-B-Q GRILL

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 LB GROUND BEEF
- 1 SMALL ONION (CHOPPED)
- 1 HEAD CABBAGE (CHOPPED)
- 3 CANS TOMATO SAUCE
Directions
- Spread ground beef in the bottom of a large casserole pan.
- Sprinkle chopped onion over the ground beef.
- Toss the cabbage into the pan also.
- Pour the tomato sauce over the cabbage.
- Bake at 350* until the ground beef is done and the cabbage is tender.(sometimes this takes 45 minutes or longer)
