Pickled Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/3 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounce package frozen Brussels sprouts.

Directions
  1. In a medium saucepan bring sugar, vinegar and seasonings to a boil stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add sprouts and cook according to package directions but only until tender crisp.
  3. Turn into a pint jar then cover tightly and refrigerate for several days to allow flavors to blend.
  4. Turn the jar upside down a few times so the marinade flavors all the spouts.
