How to make it

  • In a medium saucepan bring sugar, vinegar and seasonings to a boil stirring until sugar dissolves.
  • Add sprouts and cook according to package directions but only until tender crisp.
  • Turn into a pint jar then cover tightly and refrigerate for several days to allow flavors to blend.
  • Turn the jar upside down a few times so the marinade flavors all the spouts.
