Marinated Vegetable Salad

- 3/4 cup vinegar (I use cider because I like the flavor better) shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon water shopping list
- 1 tesp. pepper shopping list
- 1 (16 oz) can french green beans, drained shopping list
- 1 (16 oz) can English peas, drained shopping list
- 1 (12 oz) can shoe peg whole kernel corn, drained shopping list
- 1 (2 oz) jar chopped pimentos, drained shopping list
- 1 cup celery chopped shopping list
- 1 green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Combine vinegar, oil, salt, sugar, water and pepper in a medium saucepan and bring to boil, stirring to disolve sugar.
- Cool.
- Combine green beans, peas, corn, pimentos, celery, green pepper and oinon and stir in vinegar mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve well chilled.
