Victorian Vinegar Cookies Recipe
These cookies are so delicious and so special. The recipe was given to me. They were served at a beautiful little Victorian Bed and Breakfast from an antique cookie jar.

Ingredients
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 1 stick of margarine
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1-3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions
  1. In large mixer bowl, with mixer, cream butter and margarine
  2. Add sugar and vinegar
  3. Beat until fluffy
  4. With whisk blend flour and baking soda
  5. Add to mixture
  6. Stir in walnuts
  7. Drop by *teaspoonfuls* onto ungreased cookie sheet
  8. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 300 degrees
  9. Makes approximately 4 dozen wonderful little cookies
