Sweet Dough Puffs

- 6.25 oz 1% milk (scalded and cooled) shopping list
- 1.7 oz granulated sugar shopping list
- 1.9 oz margarine, melted shopping list
- .125 oz yeast shopping list
- 2 oz warm water shopping list
- 7 oz all-purpose flour shopping list
- .03 oz salt shopping list
- .03 oz baking powder shopping list
- .03 oz baking soda shopping list
How to make it
- Add sugar, margarine, yeast and water to the hot milk, stirring. Let stand 10 minutes.
- Sift the flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- Beat in the liquid mixture, and knead until smooth and supple, about 10 minutes.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm spot 1 hour.
- Turn out onto floured board, knead about 30 seconds.
- Form into to rolls, and place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Let rise, covered, 2 hours.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
