Italian chicken soup

- whole chicken cut up shopping list
- 16 oz can whole tomatoes shopping list
- pot of water shopping list
- 1/2 cup carrots diced shopping list
- 1/2 cup onions diced shopping list
- 1/4 cup fenel chopped shopping list
- 4 medium potatoes diced shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- parsely shopping list
- chicken broth or two teaspoons better than bouilion shopping list
- 1 cup orzo pasta shopping list
How to make it
- Place chicken in salted water with onions, fennel, salt and pepper
- bring to a boil and simmer for an hour
- Remove chicken and set aside untill cool enough to skin and debone
- add carrots, potatoes and canned tomatoes
- Remove chicken from bone and shred add to pot
- Add broth or bulion paste and more water to cover if neccesary
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- add orzo and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes on medium high
- Salt and peppar to taste
- Garnish with parsley
