Turnip and Apple Bake Recipe

How to make it

  • Peel, dice and cook, drain and mash the turnip with the butter.
  • Peel and slice the apples.
  • Toss with the brown sugar and cinnamon. arrange in a greased small casserole dish ( I would use a loaf pan), turnips and apples, in alternating layers, beginning and ending with the turnips.
  • Combine the crust ingredients into a crumbly mixture and pat on top of the casserole.
  • Bake at 350ยบ for 1 hour.
  • Super good!
