Ingredients
  • 1 pound groud beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • 1 cup whol corn
  • 1 can pork and beans
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 pkg jiffy corn bread mix

Directions
  1. Brownbeef, onion, and pepper.
  2. Add other ingredients (except for corn bread mix)
  3. Mix and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Fill a greased casserole dish 3/4 full.
  5. Mix cornbread according to direction. Pour over mixture in casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 350 degrss for 20 minutes.
  7. Corn bread may sink into mixture but will rise as it bakes.
