PIZZA MARINARA This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dubach Estate in Combine, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • Dough for 1 pizza
  • 5 canned plum tomatoes very well drained seeded and crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely-minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions
  1. Thirty minutes before baking place an oven rack on lowest level holding a pizza stone.
  2. Preheat oven to 500 then shape dough into a pizza following recipe directions.
  3. Scatter remaining ingredients over dough and bake 8 minutes then serve immediately.
