One of the perks working at Disney is going to the parks and enjoying them, over and over again. A bunch of us went to dinner at EPCOT tonight and I had to hunt down this recipe. We loved it!! Not sure of the servings and taking a guess at cooking... More

Ingredients
  • Meat mixture
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 ounce chopped coriander
  • 1 ounce chopped parsley
  • Second part of meat mixture:
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ginger
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 1 teaspon salt
  • 2 eggs, whipped
  • 1 ounce peanut oil

Directions
  1. Mix first 4 ingredients and brown
  2. Add remaining ingredients to beef and herb mixture, cook fully
  3. then cool
  4. Wrap 1 ounce of meat mixture in a bastilla leaf (similar to a phyllo pastry sheet, found in Middle Eastern grocery stores).
  5. Deep fry rolls.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
