Salmon and Cheese Pie

- potatoes shopping list
- 1 lb. potatoes, peeled shopping list
- 4 oz cream cheese shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 T. butter shopping list
- ¼ C. milk shopping list
- FILLING shopping list
- 2 carrots diced shopping list
- 1 med onion diced shopping list
- 2 stalks celery, diced shopping list
- 1 green bell pepper, diced shopping list
- ½ C. sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 lb cooked salmon shopping list
- cheese sauce shopping list
- 3 T. butter shopping list
- 3 T. flour shopping list
- 1 ¾ C. milk shopping list
- 2 C. grated cheese shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- TOPPING shopping list
- ½ C. grated cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Boil potatoes and mash with cream cheese, garlic, butter and milk.
- Put a little oil in skillet and sauté veggies till tender. Remove from heat, add salmon and flake.
- Melt 2 T. butter in saucepan on med heat, stir in flour to make a smooth paste. Sprinkle in salt and pepper and slowly pour in milk. Stir gently. Return to heat and stir until the sauce thickens. Add 2 C. grated cheese and stir through the sauce.
- Add salmon and veggies and stir until well mixed. Place in casserole dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top.
- Bake in a preheated 350°F oven until potatoes are golden, about 30 min.
- Sprinkle remaining grated cheese over the top and place back in oven until cheese melts.
