Another recipe from an old Newspaper. This one was from the Jersey Journal, I want to say back in the mid 70's. How many you get depends on how thick you make them. The recipe did not include how to cook them. Read more I cook them on the stove top, grill or broiler. I personally don't like a lot of salt so I cut the salt to 2 Teaspoons. There is a lot of salt from the chips so I didn't see the need to have so much. See less
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck shopping list
- 3 Tablespoons milk shopping list
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons salt shopping list
- 1/4 Teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 3/4 Cup Crushed corn chips shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients lightly
- Shape into patties
- Separate the patties with double thickness of waxed paper
- Chill
- Seal in plastic bags
- Freeze
