Portuguese love their sausage. This is best made with Portuguese sausage but any will suffice, I have zillions of these

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound of chorizo sausage, crumbled
  • 1 cup of half and half
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese with peppers
  • 1 4 1/2 ounce can chopped green chiles
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 16 ounce package of spaghetti, cooked

Directions
  1. Brown the sausage in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, drain well on paper towels. Set aside.
  2. Heat the half and half in a small saucepan. Combine the half and half, sausage, cheese and the remaining ingredients in a large bowl, tossing until the cheese melts. Serve immediately.

U really have me looking at all your recipes... wow.. Question.. the chorizo here.. it is soft... not the hard like I see on TV... This would work with that? I love chorizo.. big time.
