TROPICAL PUNCH This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Mallon Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1990.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 watermelon seeded and cut into chunks
  • 1 fresh pineapple cut into chunks
  • 1 liter silver tequila
  • 4 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 46 ounce can unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 4 oranges cut into pieces
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 3 star fruit sliced
  • 6 limes cut into pieces
  • 3 small ruby grapefruit cut into pieces
  • 3 cans grapefruit-citrus soft drink

Directions
  1. Place watermelon and pineapple chunks in a 2 gallon jar with a lid.
  2. Add tequila, juices, oranges and lemons.
  3. Chill 6 to 8 hours stirring occasionally.
  4. Two hours before serving add star fruit, limes and grapefruit.
  5. Serve punch over crushed ice in a large glass with a generous splash of soft drink.
