Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • dash of salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions
  1. Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat until light and fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and eggs. Blend well.
  4. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well.
  6. On a small plate, combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
  7. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  8. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
  10. IMMEDIATELY remove from cookie sheet.
  11. Cool and enjoy!
