How to make it

  • Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat until light and fluffy.
  • Add vanilla and eggs. Blend well.
  • Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  • Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well.
  • On a small plate, combine 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
  • Shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  • Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
  • IMMEDIATELY remove from cookie sheet.
  • Cool and enjoy!
