Awesome Almond Shortbread Recipe

I also bake this in a tart pan and fill with lemon curd and top with whipped cream and blue berries. My family really enjoys this one! Prep:15m Cook:20m Servings:20	Grandmommy

Ingredients

3/4 lb. butter at room temp.

1c. sugar

5 teaspoons of almond extract

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

31/2c. All Purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

11/2c. sliced almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350

Beat butter and sugar till combined

Add extracts

In another bowl sift flour and salt

Add flour mixture to sugar mixture

Add almonds

Mix just till it comes together

Shape into a disk and cill 30 min

Roll 1/2in. thick and cut in desired shapes

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 20-25 min.
