Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a small saucepan, add the butter and diced onion (please dice the onion as finely as posable, even use the smallest mince on your cheese grater if you find in hard to accomplish).
  • After the onion has sofened, add in th flour and mix thoroughly.
  • when the flour and butter mix has turn a pale gold colour add in the milk. Using a whisk stir until the mix thickens.
  • Add the cheese and nut meg whisk through until melted.
  • Serve.

    this looks perfect:)
    i think i will try this for dinner tonight!
    but instead of onion, im going to use lots of garlic, and also adding parmasean cheese, makes it have a really nice taste also.

    I jus wanted to say that this recipe was great!I kinda doctor'd with it to make it to my taste,with a lil sugar and sourcream to make it creamier,with different herbs.But either way thats the first time i made any white sauce,not much for alfredo...until working with that.Thanx for the recipe again!!!
