How to make it

  • Soft boil eggs:
  • Bring water to a boil, reduce heat
  • Lower the eggs into water and slow cook no longer than 3-4 minutes
  • Meanwhile, spread butter on a slice of bread and cut the bread into small cubes
  • Cut the egg open and scoop the content out in a cup
  • Add salt, pepper and mix well
  • Whip lightly with a fork and drop the bread cubes in

    Sounds great. It brings back memories of when I was a kid. I ate a lot of poached eggs on toast. I think the flavor would be nearly the same as your yummy dish. Thanks.
