Chock-full Chili

- 1 ground turkey shopping list
- 1 packet French onion soup shopping list
- 1 T. chili powder shopping list
- 2 t. cumin shopping list
- 1/2 t. pepper (or Mrs. Dash) shopping list
- 21 oz can kidney beans, drained (can be doubled - I use a variety of different beans all at once, just for fun) shopping list
- 6 oz. tomato paste shopping list
- 8 oz. tomato sauce shopping list
- Very finely chopped carrots, onions, celery, zucchini and green pepper, approx one plate full shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat in a large soup pot and add seasoning.
- Sprinkle the soup (dry mix) over the meat, stir to coat. Add 1 1/2 cups water, bring to a boil then turn down the heat a little.
- Microwave or steam vegetables until just softened a little.
- Add tomato sauce and paste to the meat and spices, mix well.
- Add beans and vegetables, simmer for a few minutes until the rest of the meal is ready for the table.
