How to make it

  • In a large saucepan comine beans, stock, garlic, and lemon juice.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat & simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes or until flavours mingle and garlic is tender.
  • With a hand blender - blend the soup until very smooth.
  • Ladle into warm soup bowls and serve with fresh bread.
  • I find this soup best hot & with warm bread - but it is actually meant to be chilled, so you can serve it either way depending on your preference or the season.
