Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 6 tablespoons COLD butter
  • 1 cup (8oz) strawberry yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/3 cup craisins
  • 2/3 cup vanilla or white chips

Directions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
  2. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Combine yogurt and 1/4 cup milk, stir into crumb mixture just until moistened.
  4. Knead in the craisins and chips.
  5. On a greased baking sheet, pat the dough into a 9in circle. Cut into eight wedges, separate wedges. Brush with milk on top.
  6. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Ooohh this scone recipe sounds wonderful. I'm giving a Sister-Daughter tea party this spring and THIS is the recipe I am going to use.
