Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs Hamburger
  • 1/2 of an average onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped in medium size pieces
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom OR cream of celery soup
  • Enough water to dilute the soup into a gravy
  • 2 cups of Minute Rice
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Brown hamburger cooking slowly so that the meat is tender. When meat is about half done add chopped onion and green pepper and continue to cook in a covered skillet until meat is done and vegetables are tender. Drain off grease and add one can of mushroom or cream of celery soup. Add enough water and stir until the soup makes a nice gravy and simmer a few minutes to heat the soup. While hamburger mixture is simmering, in a separate pan cook 2 cups of Minute Rice as directed. When rice is tender, drain and serve as you would spaghetti by pouring hamburger mixture on top of cooked bed of rice add a nice salad and some warm bread and you've got a yummy meal. It's quick, it's easy, very little clean up and it is so good.
