How to make it

  • Preheat deep fryer to 300 degrees F.
  • Mix 2 cups flour with 1 tsp salt, 1/2 black pepper, beer and eggs. Mix well. Batter will be kinda runny.
  • Season fish with salt and pepper. You may add other seasonings to kick it up if you like.
  • Dredge fish in the additional flour, tap off the excess.
  • Dip fish in the batter, coat well.
  • Fry in batches until golden brown.
  • Drain fried fish on plate lined in paper towels.
  • Transfer to a baking sheet and keep warm in the oven.
