Chicken Apple Stew

- 1 1/2 pounds bonelss chicken thighs (about six) shopping list
- salt and black pepper shopping list
- Large onion, sliced shopping list
- cinnamon shopping list
- sage shopping list
- thyme shopping list
- chicken broth (1/2 cup) shopping list
- Granny Smith apple (1), peeled, seeded, and finely chopped shopping list
- apple butter (2 tbsps) shopping list
- Half n' Half (1/2 cup) shopping list
How to make it
- Season chicken with salt and pepper, and brown in skillet in 1 tbsp butter over medium high heat
- Add onion, cook 2 minutes
- Add 1 tsp sage, 1/4 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp thyme. Stir
- Add Chicken Broth, apple, and apple butter. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cover. Cook until chicken is cooked through, about five minutes.
- Add half and half, cook 2 minutes more.
