How to make it

  • Mix egg's, Flour, Fish soup, and onion in bowl.
  • When all ingrediance are mixed then add the cabbage, mix then put a dallop of the mix in a pan with oil on high and let cook for 7 minets or so. While it cooks add prok, fish, beef, sea food or what ever you wish to add on the top. Flip at 7 minets then cook for another 3 or 4 on that side with the meat on it, when done place on a plate put Okonomiyaki sause on the top and mayonnase and a pinch of river sea weed over the top and it's done.
  • Good eating to one and all.

Chop leek fine and put in with mix   Close
Put in pan and put some fish powder and meat on top   Close
Adding fish powder   Close
once you add the fish pwder add some more of the mix over the top   Close
add Okonomiyaki sause   Close
Add mayonnase   Close
Add a pinch of dried river sea weed   Close
Add as we say here "dekita" or its done.   Close
Dryed fish powder, river sea weed, and fried flour   Close
Adding the fried flour and fish powder   Close
First side is done when it looks like this   Close
second is done when it looks like this   Close
Add cabbage and leek   Close

    I have eaten these in Tokyo - really tasty. They are popular all over Japan with a variety of "add-in" ingredients. I would make it with out the fish soup and substitute some minced chicken or pork.
