Gooey Butter Cookies

If you like gooey butter cake, you will love these cookies! They use a butter cake mix as the base and are easy and quick to put together.
Ingredients
- 1 (8oz) package cream cheese shopping list
- 1/2 C. butter, softened shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 t. vanilla shopping list
- 1 box butter recipe cake mix shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cream together butter and cream cheese.
- Mix in egg and vanilla.
- Add cake mix and mix until well blended.
- Scoop dough with spoon and roll into 1 inch balls. If the dough is too sticky, place in refrigerator for a few minutes before continuing.
- Roll the balls of dough in powdered sugar and place them 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. (I use a silicone baking mat).
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the bottoms are lightly browned. Tops will be very slightly browned. Do not overbake!
