Overnight Orange French Toast Recipe
This is very tasty, bursting with orange flavor and easy to make but tastes like you slaved for days. Yummers.

Ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 slices day old French bread
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions
  1. In medium bowl beat eggs, orange juice, milk, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
  2. Place bread slices in rectangular pan overlapping if necessary.
  3. Pour egg mixture evenly over top then cover and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 400.
  5. Brush large baking sheet with melted butter then arrange bread on top in a single layer.
  6. Sprinkle with pecans and orange zest then bake until golden brown about 25 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
