Boula Boula Recipe
I have not tried this. I came across it in one of my estate collections and thought I would post it. If anybody tries it please let me know how it comes out.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups frozen peas cooked
  • 1/4 cup liquid from peas
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Dash ground black pepper
  • 3 cups canned beef bouillon
  • 1-1/2 cups dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream whipped

Directions
  1. Using electric blender puree peas with liquid until very smooth.
  2. Heat pea puree in medium saucepan then add butter, salt and pepper.
  3. Stir until butter melts.
  4. Add bouillon and sherry then heat just to boiling point.
  5. Ladle soup into serving cups and top with plain whipped cream.
  6. If desired quickly place cups under the broiler to lightly brown the cream.
