CHILI-RUBBED STEAK

- 3 tbsp. (50 ml) dark Mexican chili powder shopping list
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml) cocoa shopping list
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml) ground Colombian coffee shopping list
- 1 tbsp. (15 ml) kosher salt shopping list
- 1 lb. (500 g) New York striploin shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat a cast iron or grill pan for three to four minutes on medium-high.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a small bowl.
- Rub the steaks all over with spice mix and let sit for five minutes.
- Put the steak in the hot, dry pan and grill about five minutes per side or until medium-rare.
- Remove and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with spicy broccolini and sweet potato fries.
