Ingredients
  • 1kg lamb meat (hogget), double minced
  • 2 medium onions, minced
  • 1 small bunch parsley, very finely chopped
  • salt, pepper
  • pinch ground cloves

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. Take a ball of mince mixture, roll into a ball
  3. Place a wooden skewer through the centre
  4. With wet hands, mould the ball into a sausage shape on the skewer
  5. Lay the skewers side by side on an ungreased griller tray or barbecue plate
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes turning regularly and be careful not to let the mixture dry out
  7. Brush with a little oil if they are starting to dry out
  8. Break one open to test. Centre should be slightly pink, but moist is the key word
  9. Wrap in Lebanese bread and smother with hoummus and go yummmmmm!
