Fresh Ginger Oysters Recipe
I say this is "fresh" because when you live on Puget Sound, even the packaged shucked oysters are fresh. This is a dish that will be adored at dinner and raved at over breakfast. It goes with anything.

Ingredients
  • 1 10oz package/jar/bottle/etc of fresh oysters
  • 2 Tbsp peanut oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 ounces fresh ginger root, sliced fine
  • 2Tbsp soy sauce

Directions
  1. Poach the oysters for a few minutes (5-7), until plump. Drain as well as possible.
  2. Heat skillet, and add oil.
  3. When the oil is very hot, add oysters, onions, ginger, and soysauce, and salt and papper if desired.
  4. Cook for a few minutes (5-10), continually stirring to avoid sticking.
  5. Serve warm.
