When we go camping at Hunting Island State park in South Carolina there is a seafood shop that offers shrimp caught that day. We always stop and make this dish with the fresh shrimp. It is very good. It can be used for a main dish or appetizer.

Ingredients
  • 1lb medium to large shrimp
  • 1 package bacon
  • Barbeque Sauce (your preferance)
  • salt & pepper
  • Skewers

Directions
  1. If you are using wooden skewers put them in water while you prepare.
  2. Shell and devein shrimp and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cut the bacon strips in thirds.
  4. wrap one piece of bacon around each shrimp and put on skewer. repeat until all shrimp are wrapped and on skewers. (5 to 6 on each skewer)
  5. cook on the grill. When bacon is almost done brush with barbeque sauce to finish.
