Almond Joy Cookies Recipe
Very moist chewy cookie just like the candy bar. Flavors go very well together in the cookie.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 C. butter
  • 3/4 C. white Sugar
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 C. flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 Package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 C. flaked coconut
  • 1 C. finely chopped almonds

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Grease cookie sheets.
  3. In large bowl cream together butter & sugars until smooth. Beat in eggs one ant a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
  5. Stir into the creamed mixture until well blended.
  6. Finally stir in chocolate chips, coconut, and almonds.
  7. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
  8. Bake 8-10 minutes.
  9. Allow to cool on baking sheet before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
