How to make it

  • Combine eggs, butter, sugar and water then cream until fluffy.
  • Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon and allspice.
  • Add to creamed mixture and mix well.
  • Fold in nuts, chocolate bits, apples and vanilla then mix until distributed evenly.
  • Spoon into greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 for 70 minutes.
