How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  • Combine margarine and vanilla.
  • Cream together until light & fluffy.
  • Sift flour and baking powder together.
  • Add flour mixture 1/4 cup at a time into margarine.
  • Combine sugar substitute and orange juice; stir into flour mixture.
  • Mix well. Sprinkle cinnamon over dough and knead to make a
  • streaked appearance. Shape dough into balls about 1/2 inch in
  • diameter and arrange on a non-stick baking sheet.
  • Flatten the balls with a fork dipped in cold water.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 - 15 minutes or until edges are brown.
  • Makes approximately 15 - 20 cookies

    Appreciate all your efforts in bringing healthier and sugar free recipes for those less blessed with good health. Will pass this on to my diabetic aunt. She loves cinnamon and I'm sure she'll love this.
