Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp EVOO

Directions
  1. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add the egg and EVOO. If there isn't enough moisture, then you can add water. If the dough is too sticky, then add flour. Roll the dough into a ball and put it in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  2. Now if you have a pasta maker, then roll the dough out a little and run through the pasta maker. Otherwise, roll the dough out until the thickness is to your liking and cut with a knife.
  3. Cooking in boiling water for 5 minutes or thoroughly cooked.

Alterations


You can make whole wheat pasta by replacing the AP flour with half AP flour and half whole wheat flour.


You can also try using other flours (e.g. semolina) to get different texture.


One more - add herbs and spices to have flavored pasta!
