How to make it

  • COLESLAW
  • Shred cabbage, onion and carrots fine.
  • Mix next 5 ingredients together and add to grated veggies. Mix well. Refrigerate for 2 hours to meld flavors. Taste for salt and pepper before serving. Keeps 2 days in fridge.
  • CONEY ISLAND SAUCE
  • Combine tomato sauce, water, mustard, chili powder and salt in mixing bowl; set aside.
  • In heavy skillet over med heat, brown ground beef, stirring often to break up any clumps. When just browned, drain grease. Add onion and garlic, and cook for a couple min. Stir in tomato sauce mixture; simmer for 30 min or until liquid is reduced Remove from heat and set aside.
  • THE WRAP
  • Put a good helping of slaw on tortilla, place meat sauce over slaw. Sprinkle with cheese and onions. Roll up and cut in half. Serve with root beer and chips.
