Fagioli e salsiccia alas beans and sausage

                    - ½ lb pinto beans dry (can substitute with 2 cans of precooked ) shopping list
- 4 Italian sausages shopping list
- 1 onion cut in half shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil shopping list
- 6 bay leaves shopping list
- half a glass of red wine shopping list
- salt shopping list
- hot pepper if desired shopping list
How to make it 
                    - Soak the beans in water with a teaspoon of baking soda overnight
- Drain the water from the beans, wash them.
- In a frying pan mix the olive oil, the sausage and the onion, the hot pepper (if desired), 4-cook it until the sausage and the onion brown.
- Add the beans the wine and let it evaporate.
- Add water and cook until the beans are tender and (you can use a pressure cooker).
- Keep the fire on until the extra water evaporates and it reaches a creamy consistency.
- Add salt as needed
- * For canned beans start from step 3
